Even a great ski can be lifeless with an improper tune. 

An expert ski tune, executed with care and precision is crucial to a great turning ski.  Here at Lincoln we tune skis and snowboards like they were our own.  Our staff is comprised of ex-race coaches, snow-cross racers, lifelong skiers and tech-heads.  They know the results that a fine tuned ski or snowboard can bring and want all our customers to experience that same fun and confidence.

Basic Tune

$19.95

 A basic tune that will spiff up any ski needing to gain some glide and better edge grip.

Includes:

*Belt Grind

  • Cleans and flattens the base
  • 1 Degree Base Edge Bevel

*Side Edge Grind/Sharpen

  • 2 - 3 Degree Side Edge Bevel

*Hand Iron Wax

  • Hand Iron in Quality TOKO glide wax.
  • Scrape and Polish base.
 
 

Not So Basic Tune

 A great value tune that adds hand tuning of the edges.  Machines are good but skilled hands on fine tuning is better.  You will feel the difference!

Includes:

*Belt Grind

  • Cleans and flattens the base
  • 1 Degree Base Edge Bevel

*Side Edge Grind/Sharpen

  • 2 - 3 Degree Side Edge Bevel by hand tools.

*Hand Iron Wax

  • Hand Iron in Quality TOKO glide wax.
  • Scrape and Polish base.
 
 

Pimp my Ride!

 If speed and control are what you desire, then this is for you.  Or if you are just looking to get an older pair of skis back to original condition.  This is the tune that pays attention to every detail.  It takes well over an hour to complete this process and it pays off with every grin at every turn.

Includes:

*Belt Grind

  • Cleans and flattens the base
  • 1 Degree Base Edge Bevel
  • Paying special attention to details in the ski base and assuring it is flat.

*Stone Grind

  • Re-structures the base of the ski, giving it better glide and turning control.

*Side Edge Grind/Sharpen

  • 2 - 3 Degree Side Edge Bevel by hand tools.
  • Polish edges with diamond stone.
  • Secret Sauce, used on the edges for a final polish.

*Hand Iron Wax

  • Hand Iron in Quality temperature specific Homenkol glide wax.
  • An additional layer of top quality race wax for maximum glide and control.
  • Scrape and Polish base.
